Submission of Abstracts
Those wishing to present papers at the International Conference on Public Policy for Sustainable Development must submit an abstract of about 150 words to the INPUMA Secretariat by January 15, 2008. Abstracts are to be sent to either Ms. Noor Aleeka at nooraleeka@yahoo.com or Ms. Nurdiyana Alias at nurdiyana_a@yahoo.com
Submission of Papers
Soft copies of full written papers may be submitted to the INPUMA Secretariat from February 31, 2009. The final date for submission of papers is April 30, 2009. Papers must be written in English. The Organising Committee will review all submitted papers and inform the author of its decision asap. The Organising Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any paper. Please note, only those who have submitted full written papers will be considered for presentation. PowerPoint notes are not considered as papers. Papers should describe original and unpublished work related to the topic areas or public policy and sustainable development in general.
Upon acceptance of the paper by the Organising Committee, one soft copy of the paper must be submitted no later than April 31, 2009 to either Ms. Noor Aleeka at nooraleeka@yahoo.com or Ms. Nurdiyana Alias at nurdiyana_a@yahoo.com
Final papers should not exceed 25 typed pages, double-spaced, 8 ½ by 11 inch single-sided pages, including footnotes, figures, and tables. References, abstract, and title page are not included in the 25 page limit.
- Papers should be on 8 1/2 X 11 inch paper with the following margins: left and right, 0.75 inch; top, 0.8 inch; and bottom, 1 inch
- Structure of paper should be:
- Title
- Author(s) with affiliation
- Abstract (About 150 words)
- Key words (3-5)
- Body
- Reference List
- Use 12-point Times New Roman for the main body of text; do not number pages.
- Photos and drawings should have good contrast. Note: a photocopy gives a good indication of print quality.
- Electronic submissions can be made in any of the following formats:
- Adobe Acrobat PDF;
- Microsoft Word
- Reference citations and other topics not explicitly discussed in this list should follow a recognised standard format (for example, APA, Chicago Manual)
A biographical page is to be included with the paper. The biography should contain Name, Address, Phone, and E-mail for each author as well as a short descriptive paragraph about the first author. The biography will be used to contact authors concerning the conference and presentation schedule.
Please note presentation at the Conference is not a prerequisite for publication. The Organising Committee may accept papers related to public policy and sustainable development for future publication.
